Architecting and scaling a fintech platform serving 200K+ users

Sole frontend engineer across two major versions of Figur Africa, owning architecture, performance, and user experience end-to-end. Designed and implemented a dispute resolution system within the dashboard, handling complex transaction states, asynchronous workflows, and real-time updates.

Converted the platform into a Progressive Web App (PWA), improving load performance, offline access, and reliability for users on low-bandwidth networks. Led performance optimisation for v2, scaling from 50K to 200K+ users with 90%+ test coverage and WCAG-compliant interfaces.

Single-handedly built the entire frontend (v1 & v2) for Figur Africa, a fintech platform serving 200,000+ users, using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS with real-time WebSocket integrations.
